We hope you’re enjoying the start of summer!
Recently, we shared via email* that the Manor Creek commission voted not to renew the city’s contract with Waste Management and instead approved a new, three-year contract with Rumpke for trash, recycling, and yard waste collection. In addition to the info sheet attached to the bottom of this blog post, below are some key dates and actions required:
TO KNOW:
Rumpke will deliver trash and recycling receptacles on Monday, June 27.
Waste Management’s final trash/junk pickup is Monday, June 27, and the final recycling/yard waste pickup is Wednesday, June 29. All Waste Management receptacles will be collected on Wednesday, June 29.
Rumpke’s first pickup of trash, recycling, and yard waste will be Friday, July 1, and every Friday going forward.
TO DO:
On the evening of Tuesday, June 28, place all Waste Management receptacles at your curb. They will be collected along with the regular recycling and yard waste pickup on Wednesday, June 29. IMPORTANT: Trash receptacles should be EMPTY.
If you will be out of town or unavailable during this time, please work with a neighbor or one of our commissioners to ensure your Waste Management receptacles will be collected.
